| As the barbecue season begins to draw
to a close (and storage space becomes an issue again!)
it's time to set your mind to clearing out all your
junk and clutter!
Calor are hoping to make this year's post-summer clear
out the most worthwhile you've ever done.
For every unwanted or empty Calor gas cylinder returned to a Calor Gas Direct Outlet, we will donate £5 to ChildLine. We've
already had a fantastic response, with thousands of
cylinders being returned.
Time is running out though, as the campaign ends at the end of 2007. To help those who haven't yet cleared the
garden, garage or shed - here are some top tips!
-
Decide where you want to start, how much you want
to do, and what you want to achieve. It takes longer
than you think to clear out a cluttered garage or shed,
so why not start with a corner or a cupboard that you
might want cleared.
-
Be aware of what you may find and what you’re
going to do with it. For example, what will you do with
old bikes that your children had when they were five,
now that they’re teenagers or have left home?
-
Be clear about where things will be stored when
you’ve finished. You may have garden tools in
the shed and the garage, but it would be easier to know
exactly what you’ve got if they were all kept
in the shed?
-
Reward yourself each time you’ve spent an
hour clearing your clutter.
-
Make sure you only keep things that you will definitely
use! We all have good intentions of using things that
we forgot we had, yet never actually do!
Now use our tips and turn your clutter into cash for charity!
